Toyota's most common vehicles include the Toyota Innova Crysta, Toyota Fortuner, Toyota Fortuner Legender, Toyota Glanza, and Toyota Urban Cruiser. Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced an increase in domestic wholesales of 113.60 percent to 15,001 units in March 2021. In March 2020, the car maker delivered 7,023 units in the domestic market.
"We were able to retain our growth momentum, as we ended the last quarter with a 73 percent rise in domestic revenue compared to the same period last year (January-March 2020)," said Naveen Soni, Senior Vice President, Toyota Kirloskar Motor.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor's domestic wholesales rose by 73% in the January-March period of FY 2020-21, compared to the same quarter in FY 2019-20. "Demand for personal mobility continues to rise, as evidenced by an increase in both inquiries and consumer orders, resulting in a 7% increase in domestic sales in March 2021 compared to February 2021." This just adds to the brand's success among our consumers, which has been bolstered by the recent releases of the latest Innova Crysta and Fortuner, as well as the Legender," Soni said. In November 2020, Toyota Kirloskar Motor introduced the new Innova Crysta. In January 2021, the new Fortuner and Fortuner Legender made their debut in India.
