The Union Ministry of Education on Wednesday cancelled the CBSE's Class 10 board exams and postponed the Class 12 exams, citing an increase in coronavirus cases. This decision would impact more than 20 lakh students across the country. UP Board has however postponed Class 10 and Class 12 exams till mid May. Punjab CM has ruled out the possibility of Class5, Class 8 and Class 10 examination. Class 12 exams have been postponed. According to the Punjab CM, a decision on holding Class 12 Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) exams will be made later, depending on the state's COVID condition. He said the results for Class 5 Board will be announced on the basis of 4 exams that have already been conducted, barring the fifth exam which is now cancelled.
